Letterjuice offers short Type Design Workshops to Universities and Design Schools in specific topics ranging from basic type design to more advance subjects such as specific scripts, styles or specialized topics. Our workshops are divided into two sides. On one hand, we offer theory classes giving historical and technical background to the students. These classes are articulated short lectures and seminars encouraging debate around the specific subject of study. On the other hand, we propose practical exercises, which constitute the core part of the workshop. The students work on their projects while getting one to one feedback, we also encourage constructive criticism among the students by setting a supportive environment in which students can feel free to comment on their classmates work as well as receive information from others.
